Akima Infrastructure Services, LLC (AIS) is one of six operating companies of Akima Management Services, an Alaska Native Corporation. AIS is a Small Disadvantaged Business established in late 2005 to pursue work in markets developed by sister Akima operating companies. In order to better serve those customers, AIS focuses its resources, management expertise and learned processes on IT/administrative support services and specialized training.
Since its formation in 1995, Akima has performed on locations throughout the U.S. for customers that include the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, NASA, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, U.S. Navy, Defense Intelligence Agency and others. We have the resources and management talents to successfully administer large, complex programs on a national scale and at the same time possess the small business agility critical to rapid transitions and specialized smaller contract requirements.
